This manuscript explores the current state of sexuality education through social media platforms. Digital spaces are more commonly becoming essential in communication, learning, and engagement with community. This has become a key tool in disseminating sexual health information that is both accurate and credible. However, the digital age has its own challenges and opportunities that must be considered. This paper looks at barriers such as misinformation and challenges to inclusivity and accessibility. It highlights the role of policy and its effects on sexual health content available and consumed online. Furthermore, this review looks at the facilitators of effective sexual health education on social media.
